doing small things for yourself can give you such a boost. i wasn’t feeling the greatest this morning, i’m currently sick and have had a headache all day, but as i was getting ready this morning i put in a tiny extra effort and found my favourite socks and wore them. and hey!! it worked. it’s small and a little bit silly but it works! even making small efforts builds up over time. know you’ll be out late? pack a snack that you know you love. not feeling the greatest? wear your favourite socks!!

Alright can I have a straightup confession here?

So like.... okay.... this is the weirdest damn thing, I fully admit that: I’ve had 3 dreams about meeting the McElroys and they straightup hate me. One was at a convention in a line, one was when they invited me to do a podcast, and one was when I DMed a TAZ game for them in front of a studio audience and I blew it. LAST NIGHT: I dreamt that they invited me to do a podcast with them and we all had a great time and they..... made me an honorary McElroy?????? (wtf).... So. Now that my dream self has seemingly overcome a desire to be loved by people I admire can like...... can I stop having these dreams now?

Like legit... I think God or my subconscious or something is trying to tell me to stop hero-worshipping people that I look up to. Especially since if I really tried hard and actually created content I could at least view these people as peers in my own mind.

Maybe 2018 is the year where I step up and try to be my own hero. Maybe it’s finally time to stick my neck out and create my story. I don’t know...
