Those moments you miss having an art sponsor or being in art school when you had scholarships that paid for art supplies … when you’re ready to create again and you want to start painting and you realize you don’t have any canvases in your out of a ton of paints you don’t have any finishing supplies and then you say well I’ll start looking and there’s this great deal and you put 70% of what you need in the cart and then you see the subtotal and you’re not even done shopping and you realize you can’t afford to create…. these are the moments you say, “is it really too early for margaritas and crying?” Or “Why do the people at McDonalds make more money than I do taking care of a disabled combat veteran managing his money his prescription medication‘s, driving him to and from appointments managing his appointments helping him with all of his medical needs keeping track of all of his fiduciary responsibilities and so many more things that people don’t see and that I certainly don’t want to talk about in public?“.
