Self Documentation Kits
My Design Anthropology oriented studies lead me to study the context where I work. Here the perfect tool applicable in order to understand the behaviours and needs of users is the Self Documentation Kit.
In my research I asked three subjects to bring with them for a period of a week, one of these kits.
The result is really fascinating; the majority of the times, the subject use the kit as a personal diary and fortunately lose the bias of being observed by the researcher.
In general, my research is focused in understanding "how much the context positively affect the production of design artifacts". Let's see where the research will bring me!
