i just spent the last two and a half days painting a new mural/selfie wall for a local comedy club (to cover an old mural painted in the 90s that didn’t really hold up to uh… “modern standards”) that i FUCKED UP at the very end of the second day and had to come in for a third day to salvage it but it turned out real good i think. anyway enjoy! or don’t! life is meaningless!

Het is zo maar een winkeltje in Los Angeles, maar bij een groot aantal (voornamelijk jonge vrouwelijke) mensen van overal ter wereld bekend om zijn gevels. Het is de roze zijmuur van de Paul Smith store op Melrose Avenue die beter bekend staat als de Selfie Wall. Fotograaf William Rutten laat even zien hoe dat daar aan toe gaat. Gaan we nu van een beeldcultuur naar een zelfbeeldcultuur?
