So some OTPs are in songs, and some in illustrations. Tohru Adachi and Izanami is one of the ones that becomes a song. The opening to our Selfish Indulgence EP is something close to a raw feeling of love, where it goes to the point of obsession, lust, and generally how it borders on just... umm... sinning. So it can gradually transition to the healthier kind of love as the track progresses to another. Music wise, I'm largely inspired by Depeche Mode, especially for the theme, and Shoji Meguro (OBVISOUSLY) for the vibe (especially those piano lines) -- but it also sorta referenced Enigma's way of twisting the concept of lust and religion via Gregorian chantings. The only thing that I regret from this song is I didn’t get the chance to input actual bass sound. I’m currently studying in my hometown, Bandung while my studio is located in Jakarta, in distance of 120+ km with limited days of working in the studio -- I barely have time! But this is one of my most favourite bass line compositions I’ve ever made.

While this pretty much illustrates the twistedness of the ship, this can also be interpreted as that moment when you plunge down into a ship, wanting more feed, and can never get over it, and I feel like it’s a perfect way to open the EP. - MIU
