Best friends…. that’s a sacred title. I expect a lot from a best friend. Best friends don’t befriend your ex’s new girlfriend. They know that the fact that you already have been made to felt replaced by her hurts you beyond measure. They’ll understand that. They won’t invite her over to their home nor will they allow her to go as far as taking intimate photos of said friend, even if it is a free way to get the friend’s boyfriend a gift. They won’t even entertain the idea of doing anything that would make you feel worse about a situation that hurts you so deeply. You’ve already felt replaced once. They don’t make you feel even more worthless. They don’t run back and tattle to said ex every time you come to them in frustration. Esp when it can effect your job. People wonder why I’m so angry. It’s because even those who should have your back will leave you flat on it if it serves them. And that is not a true friend.
