Art Assignment: Self Shape Anchored by Natalie Lang (She/Her)

Vague colors have always been my style rather than distinct patterns, and water paints are my favorite medium so when representing myself I figured those were the themes I should go with. There are two shapes that came to me while I was sketching out ideas, so I ended up painting them with very different themes - to me it’s an example of the different personalities I can embody. They also both could be seen as vaguely humanoid, which was not my intent but leads to interesting implications.
