i really like how casual they all look! but this was a missed chance to see bokusei again in official arts...not that i'm not content with oresei, i adore both equally but i'm getting bokusei withdrawals and because it's the winter championship...

the problem of having so many f/os is that you'll be hyperfocused on one, and then you remember another f/o which soon becomes hyperfixated on, and again with another f/o, and again and again and again and again and agai—
couldn't sleep so I started reading charlie and the great glass elevator again because yes, got stuck in the middle thinking and looking at willy, started sobbing because I love him so much but at the same time he's not real, and that makes me feel a bit sad, but at the same time he brings me so much joy and makes me feel loved (both by him and by myself) and he has helped me improve in fact of self esteem and my view on life, then wrote the most heartfelt "poem" I've ever managed to even think as a sort of letter to him and now I feel at peace with the world

I just want to dance with Bro to Santana, he'd dance with me in the middle of the night while baking things because I suddenly had anxiety and couldn't sleep. So he finds me in the kitchen baking. Throws on Santana and makes me dance with him. Knowing that he can make me laugh and stop being anxious by being goofy and dancing with me at 3am in the middle of the kitchen to our favorite songs.

first off... yes, a 20 year old self inserting to a hs 😭 i know. in my defense, leona (the reason i got into twst) is also 20. anyways, the backstory for my self insert behind that is that i was a late bloomer (yes, that's an intentional play on words given my magic is flower themed) with my magic, and when i got my signature spell at age 16, it made me fall into a trance-like sleep until i was 19! if i'm being completely honest, i made that my backstory because in real life, i actually dropped out of school at age 16 due to mental health, and did, in fact, spend years sleeping my days away.
as for being female in an all boy's school... it's a self insert and i can do whatever i like :>
expanding on my signature spell, basically, i can grow enchanted blossoms that release pollens/mists that have a sedative effect on people (including myself; not the best magic to have haha,,), which can be used for sedating people in times of distress, putting attackers to sleep, or helping people get some rest who need it. i think the flowers themselves would be roses (i know that something like lavender or poppy would fit the sleepy theme better, but i just like roses more, and it fits that i'm loosely twisted from sleeping beauty).
i didn't create my s/i with any disney in mind initially, but after i decided i'd be in diasomnia & what my magic would be, it kind of felt natural to be twisted from sleeping beauty—more specifically, the good fairy flora (with a little nudge to aurora in terms of the sleepy magic & my general temperament lol). i thought it perfect since my name is fay... and she's... a fae...
in terms of relationships, it IS selfship related, however my selfships with malleus and leona aren't exactly "romantic relationship" types, and it's not solely a romance-based self insert. leona is a one-sided selfship with myself having a crush on him, whilst he vaguely respects me (though my personality may irritate him), and eventually we both develop a shared sort of solidarity in that we both have depression (this is mainly for coping for me and hurt/comfort potential), and that we're both 20 in nrc amongst largely teenagers (aside from lilia and malleus).
malleus, however, is slightly more romantic, but less in a soulmates type way, and more that... we're both awkwardly aware of tiny feelings for one another, but too fixated on our friendship to do anything about it (yet). malleus is lonely because people fear him, and i'm lonely because i'm just painfully shy, but i do believe we'd form a lovely friendship. i'd be in gargoyle studies club, too.
my best subjects would be animal linguistics, and magic analysis. i love animals so much, so animal linguistics is a no brainer, and magic analysis i'd be good at since it plays to my strengths! i also thought that me being good with animals & liking animal linguistics works nicely with the slight aurora association (since she is friends with woodland creatures!)
oh, one other random thing i liked is that diasomnia is very gothic/dark, because that's the opposite of my own aesthetic! i love the idea of being surrounded by dark, gothic aesthetics whilst i personally love pink, florals, and springtime :D i think my own personal aesthetic fits the aurora/fairy influence well, too (and contrasts my selfships nicely)
that's all i have for now—like i said, i cannot draw, so any more pictures or templates of my si are likely to be few and far between, but i'm def gonna yap about my si and relationships more often in the future!
