In a way it felt like Christmas morning all over again, as far as Darcy was concerned.
She's been meaning to get into the Tower since the beginning, really, and even more so after Chance and her tried to get in and she saw those words graffiti-ed onto the top of the building (something that almost ended in tragedy, but Darcy tried not thinking about that part of the adventure). The fact that now they could go right in...
(It didn't sit right with her, the fact that it had to be through the grave, there should be a normal entrance somewhere, but she'd take what she could get for now - not to mention now they actually had a better chance of finding another entrance inside, too.)
It also somehow just felt so overwhelming, so many new things she wanted to take a look at, explore and figure out, she didn't even know where to start. She could spend days in here and not run out of new things to find, she was sure of it.
Like the restrains on the bed in one of the rooms of the first floor. "Have you seen these?" she asked Selin, her fingers running along the material as she noticed one of them. She looked over at the other beds - from first glace all of them having them as well. "This must have been where we all were held while we were in the simulation." It just made sense to her, not even considering any other (much more sinister) possibility. "The fact that we've been able to get inside is huge, Selin!"
