It was the start of something; a working relationship and a friendship, all in one. And just as quickly, they lost touch. Sure, Amelia got her started. Introduced her to the lifestyle team, processed a badge for Channel 212, and even approved a modest budget. E-mails exchanged, a few calls... Then, her father. And then, the fires. She all but shakes the news out of Dev, protective as ever when it comes to his sisters. And so, Amelia decides to get over herself, walking out of the apartment for the first time in a week. Her bruised eyes and broken nose still visible; but in the aftermath of the fires, Amelia assumes no one will be the wiser. They will just assume she's another casualty.

"Selin?" Amelia calls out, tapping at the hospital doorway. It's madness in here, and Amelia removes her sunglasses to stare at the woman cautiously. "Good god, I'm so sorry." Nothing better to say, but at least she's not the worst patient in the hospital. "Can I come in?"

She's spent enough time in the news and entertainment industry to know; everyone has their fair share of secrets and shames. If it were earlier this year, Amelia may have it in her to judge more harshly. But after a number of events? Well... She meets Selin's eye when she emerges from her bedroom the following morning. No heavy-handed fussing, but no withering stare either. Amelia simply begins preparing her a cup of coffee, whilst taking a sip of her own half-finished cup. "Just coffee, Sel? I also picked up some bagels from that place down the street." She asks, assessing her roommate's state of mind. Hungover? Upset? Or, as is often the case with Selin, an overwhelming positivity that bulldozes over the wrath of the Pantheon.

Makeup truly was a miracle worker as the last few days had been one that had Rüya trying to hide rather than face what was in front of her. For the most part her family had taken care of things, had organized and scheduled. It had driven her insane, the passiveness of it all that the young woman had been left with. She hated it, truly.

Then of course there were the other factors, the wish to check in on a friend. Rüya had just about to managed to look presentable when visiting her friend. "I wanted to check on you. Make sure you're okay." There was a bag in her hands, food for the two of them in case the other was up for it. She herself wasn't entirely sure as to the extend of her appetite. But wasn't that, pretending things were fine and under control, something she'd always been exceptionally well at. Or so she thought.
