thinking about Sem and how I still haven't decided where exactly he lives (all I know is it's far from the core and it's not a big world) and thinking. what if it's Lothal.

it's a small world, but (probably) big enough to have a university. it has little imperial presence during the first decade or so of the empire, and the population seems sympathetic to rebellious types so a scholar studying jedi culture would not be out of place or rejected by the community. it has archaeological sites, some of which probably jedi-related since there's a hidden temple in the planet. and wouldn't it be funny. half a decade before all that rebel mess an inquisitor came to this planet to investigate a suspiciously jedi-aligned university professor and ended up disappearing. the professor was totally unaffected and is still doing pretty much the same, except now he has a stay at home husband who is unusually wary around cameras and imperials. which is totally normal tbh
