when people say you should be proud of/happy for/basically "reward" people who weigh more for working out because they're working to become "better"
more like no a lot of them were probably forced into that mindset that thin IS better and they need to be it--and really awful shows like Biggest Loser and the like just back that up.
when really what we need to know is if their weight is even harmful to them because guess what? Being "fat" doesn't mean being unhealthy--hell, the extent they're working out might be more unhealthy, because if they're not taught how to exercise properly (and people RARELY are), they can develop tons of health problems or even forms of disordered eating like anorexia.
And even if that happens, guess what? Some of them still might not even lose that much weight.
How about instead of "rewarding" fat people for going to the gym or being proud of them for "getting better" (as if being fat is an illness)
WE STAY IN OUR OWN GODDAMN BUSINESS AND NOT THEIRS
