And not putting this in the tags of the previous post, but D&C 9:9 was about when seeking direct revelation, and even more specifically to the work of translating the Book of Mormon. So like, trying to apply it to seeking yes-no answers in personal prayer, but especially to losing your train of thought, is over-applying it.

Reblogging a post by a mature blog from Popular Reblogs means nobody notices. The note count takes precedence.

Reblogging a mature blog’s post from For You, when it’s got just a mere 50-980 notes, is risky.

I mean, assuming a failure state of “people think I follow mature blogs.” Because honestly it’s just regular tumblr blogging.

This doesn’t account for reblogging from mutuals. Those, you don’t have to check at all. People will see “xx reblogged from yy” on your page all the time. The frequent-prev username takes precedence.
