I want to ask a question, and I'm afraid it will come off rude but it's a genuine question that has me curious and not judgemental.

What has you attracted to writing non-con? What is attracting to you in that genre?

If this sounds rude then I'm really sorry and it's not my intention, it's just... It's a type I find really difficult to be interested in and I wonder what others can/may see in it. Although, I know the saying with tastes and colours... But still

Hi Marion!! I'm sorry it's taken me such a long time to answer this ask. It's not because I was offended at all. I appreciate the question! It was more because, uh, I'm not sure? And i was hoping taking some time to think about it would maybe help a well-reasoned answer to magically pop into my head.

But unfortunately that didn't really happen. I just like it? And I always have?

Intense control is definitely attractive to me in a fantasy setting. So is the passion and power that would let someone just take what they want.

And I think if I took even more time and thought even harder about all of this, I might he able to give you an answer that weaves in my aroaceness. Not in any wide-reaching global sense, but just in the way that my sexuality informs all aspects of how I see the world. And because sex and romance, for me, don't have any real world correlaries, so they can more easily, maybe, live in the realm of pure fantasy than if sex and romance were actual, tangible things for me. And I definitely think the opposite is also true. My general allergy to intense fluff is absolutely related to my IRL aromanticism and romance repulsion.

Okay, so in the end I was able to give you a little more of an answer than I thought. Although I don't know if any of it makes any sense. 😅 But I appreciate your curiosity!

i've been okay. I know its been quiet on my end on tumblr lately (sorry) just tired of the anon and antis and Social Media in general lately.

Impressive? me? Nah, never lol. just have a lot time on my hands and a vivid imagination.

It's just that, tbh, having a vivid imagination and reading different genres of books/fanfics, it creates a lot of words in your mind.

you gotta remember though, i've been at this since 2011. so i've been writing on and off since then. i've had a lot of practice. i dont read as much as i used to but i still enjoy it when my brain allows me to!

i know not all of what i write is perfect, nor do i ever say they are. but it's asks like this that make me want to keep writing because it makes me feel like whatever i put out into the world is worthy <3
