he bites his tongue & looks to the floor, his own pain mingling in the air with hers. they knew from the moment they married it wasn’t going to be easy, a jedi & a senator falling in love during a galaxy wide war. but despite the knowledge they both held, reality turned out to be harder than they expected. anakin had been home for a grand total of four hours before the council decided to send him back to the outer rim, destroying any hope of spending time with the one person who made it all worth it. husband & wife had last seen each other in person 2 months prior & now with only a few hours together he had to leave again for who knows how long.
