Opinion on cover design: it's not as cool as a city by the light divided or as iconic as full collapse but i love how it's instantly recognisable and i can't fkn remember where i heard/read this but geoff said it's fully unstaged, just from a collection of photos of new york (i think tom's dad took it maybe??) and he loves the look of this one of the nuns walking under some scaffolding because he said something poetic about them disappearing into the city or something. so true

Favourite song: if bonus tracks count, then fake nostalgia. one of the best things they've ever written holy shit. if bonus tracks don't count, then circuits of fever. also one of the best things they've ever written holy shit.

Least favourite song: THIS IS PAINFULLL thursday has never missed. maybe resuscitation of a dead man. it has some great moments but i guess it lags a little in places

Underrated track: literally all of them lol. maybe you were the cancer, i truly think it's an incredible closer with some great lyrical callbacks to thursday's work without being corny/overbearing about it

Overrated track: there is not a single overrated track on this album, none of them get the appreciation they deserve

Paris in Flames - by far my favourite song on this album <3 3:43 on im in love with u 

I Am the Killer - so many good things about this one. when ur listening with headphones and the backing vocals go from one ear to the other <3 so good <3 not 2 mention the “everythings falling apart” part <3

Understanding In a Car Crash - this song. So iconic. i love especially the guitar line that comes in around 3:14 and when he says “in a crash!” right at the end yeah <3

Cross Out the Eyes - epic lyrical moments here

A Hole In the World - the piano in this song is everything 2 me

Wind Up - i dont listen to this one enough i forget how good it is. like geoffs voice near the end ... so so good

Autobiography of a Nation - i didnt like this one at first not gonna lie but she has grown on me <3 theres a lot of good screaming + guitar moments in this one
