An Introduction To My OCs
Hi, you may or may not have seen my previous post introducing one of my OCs, Bungy, and if you have, you would know that I ended it on a bit of a cliffhanger. Now you've been falling for a few days now but I've finally caught you, here are the rest of the OCs I've made (so far)!
The basic story is that all of these characters come from different universes, but all ended up in one infinite white void called Vadentoru, which is the highest layer of reality. Vadentoru has various lifeforms and structures, many of which control the fundamental rules of every reality beneath. It is a very cosmological setting. Now I know you just want me to get to the characters, and you're right. The setting of Vadentoru will be expanded upon in a future post, as I have quite a bit to cover.
Vadentoru is also the name of the series(?)/project(?) these characters are in. Anything related to this project will be tagged with #vadentoru
We'll start from the smallest and end with the tallest.
Crait
Age: 6
Crait is a cube-shaped entity native to Vadentoru, which acts like a dog/cat. He is a very good boy and he loves pets. Crait moves by rolling, sort of like the small cube in the Gamecube startup screen. Crait may seem small, but that's because he is a very young individual of his species, they can grow quite large as they age, but that will be explained in further detail in the future setting post.
Belle
Age: 20 Pronouns: she/her Bisexual
Belle is girl who is also a bell, who would've guessed! She is a nice chill girl, she's generally friendly and sociable. However, you should not get on her bad side. She has a pretty short temper...
...and she takes no bullshit.
She can wreck you if need be.
Bungy
Age: 19 Pronouns: he/him Asexual
You may already know about Bungy from my previous post about him. If not, I'll give you a quick refresher.
Bungy is curious and friendly, although he gets nervous in unfamiliar situations. He doesn't speak, but he conveys meaning and emotion through expressions and body language. He is great at playing the piano.
Bungy can shapeshift to a limited extent. He can't change color, his eyes are always fully black, and his ears are always present in one form or another. Other than that, he can go wild.
Oh and he also has hair sometimes, if he feels like it.
One interesting thing to note about Bungy is that, canonically, he experiences every art piece ever made of him, no matter when it was made, who made it, or in what medium, with the only exception being in cases where he is not portrayed accurately (i.e. shapeshifts in a way he is usually unable to or has a different personality), something major happens to him (i.e. serious injury or death), or the creator of the art piece specifies that it isn't the original Bungy (be it an AU Bungy, a character that looks like Bungy, etc). If all of the requirements are met, that means he has canonically experienced it.
When Bungy falls asleep, sometimes instead of a dream, he is transported down into a lower reality and into a universe, wakes up, experiences things in that universe, and either he goes back to sleep or suddenly goes unconscious, in which he will then be brought back up to where he fell asleep, and wakes up.
If you go to where he fell asleep while this is occurring, you will not find him.

Arboir
Age: 37 Pronouns: they/them Pansexual
Arboir is a pink starfish-like clump of hair. He is a member of the Amburl species, and he speaks their language of Urelan. Below is a sample of Urelan script:
(Note: this does not actually translate to anything. If I was good at conlangs I would make this into an actual language, but at the time of writing, I am not)
Arboir did not know English at first, but he learned from the rest of the gang, and now can both write and speak rudimentary English.
Arboir is a bit of a wildcard, nobody really knows what hes about to do next. He typically minds his own business, keeping to himself most of the time.
Arboir's species, the Amburl, are single-sex. They reproduce by having a bunch of them lay eggs in a pile, which then absorb each other and form a single offspring. Therefore, an Amburl can have almost any number of parents. They do not mate nor have sexual partners, but they can form close bonds that could be considered romantic.
In Amburl society, almost everything is communal, and they don't really have a concept of ownership or a concept of "yours" or "mine" except when referring to friends (your friend), body parts (your appendage, my appendage) or excretion (your egg, my egg). Arboir sometimes takes things from others without asking beforehand.
They consider an "excretion" to be anything that comes from another thing, they consider rain an excretion as it comes from rain clouds, they consider art an excretion as it comes from Amburl, they consider voices excretion. If one were to make something out of LEGO blocks, they would consider it to be an excretion.
They mostly refer to things as "the." For example, if someone drops something, like a piece of food. you wouldn't say "You dropped your food," you would say "You dropped the food."
Phil Trifle
Age: 30 Pronouns: he/him Asexual
Completely original character! Not based on any preexisting yellow triangular character with one eye!
Ok fine you caught me, Phil is shamelessly based on Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls.
Phil's personality was originally based on the original Bill's personality, but I haven't watched Gravity Falls in a long time, so I've actually kinda forgotten most of his personality. So Phil's personality is more based on my memory of Bill's personality.
Phil is Bill but much more pathetic and ineffective. He is mischievous and sometimes malicious, but things almost never go his way. He likes to get into fights but often backs down. He tries to be scary and intimidating but fails often. He is petty and sometimes annoying, but everyone feels bad for him so they let him tag along.
EBI
Age: 17 Pronouns: any Asexual
EBI is a robot of some kind, with various plugs as its feet, a camera for an eye, and a beacon on her back.
EBI speaks in multiple voices, one sentence he may use a male voice, and another a female voice. They may sometimes switch voices mid-sentence.
EBI is incredibly straightforward and seemingly unemotional, but deep down they truly do deeply care for the people around xem, she just shows it in unconventional ways.
Kami
Age: 22 Pronouns: she/her Lesbian
Kami is a robot with a screen for a head, which displays text to form her face. She's a friendly gal. She loves to hang out with people. She enjoys talking to and getting to know people. She's mostly feminine but has a tomboy side.
Sendril
Age: 205 Pronouns: he/him Bisexual
Sendril is chaotic, charismatic and charming. He's also the antagonist. Nobody really knows where he came from.
Sendril is a loner who sometimes causes havoc, and he's never too far from the other characters.
Sendril likes mischief and mayhem. He has a friendly demeanor but his intentions are never clear (except for them being almost always malicious).
He likes to joke around, but he never says anything outright disrespectful.
Ticon
Age: 23 Pronouns: he/him Straight
Ticon is from a race called the Tomerci, who have circular head and long, centipede-like bodies. Each segment has two legs. They are born with two segments and gain a new segment an average of every 2 years, but the growth is irregular. As they age, the line separating the black & white sides of their head slowly become less straight and more squiggly/rugged.
Tomerci can separate their feet and used them as fingers for their hands, the palms of which are discs that are stored behind the head when not in use.
Ticon is a trans man. The heads of AMAB Tomerci have the black side on the left, and AFABS have the black side on the right. His deadname is Temari.
The naming conventions are that every name starts with the letter T, male names contain a C and female names contain an M.
Ticon is a chill guy. He's generally serious but in a cool way, and would rather stay in his lane and do his own thing.
Nazel
Age: 45 Pronouns: he/they Gay
Nazel is an elephant trunk-lookin dude. He is basically the dad if the group, complete with dad bod and dad personality. He likes to make jokes, which are often of the dad variety.
Nazel is supportive and and tries to lift the spirits of everyone else.
Nazel is also really good at cooking.
He can make something delicious with practically any combination of ingredients.
He also has an incredible sense of smell, his eyes are also his nostrils. He can smell a piece of food and guess the ingredients that went into it with decent accuracy.
Roja
Age: 26 Pronouns: she/her Pansexual
Roja is a tall red woman with a really fucking cool hat, I mean look at it! Badass.
Roja is mute and has autism. She is quiet and reserved, but kind. She's a bit socially awkward but always helps people when needed. She's kind of the mother figure of the group.
She communicates through gestures and sign language.
Roja is very attached to her hat, she is almost always wearing it, and she never goes anywhere without it. She takes it off when she sleeps but she keeps it in her arms while she does.
Oh, and also her and Ticon are gf and bf.
Tecks
Age: 21 Pronouns: he/him Straight
Tecks is literally just giant text. He's... well.. honestly he's just an asshole. Nobody really likes him, but they bring him along because they don't really want to just leave him to die alone.
Tecks is rude, brutish, and likes to hurl insults around. He often talks down to people, but in reality he feels inferior to the others.
Tecks is self loathing. He originates from a 2D universe that is essentially a giant text document. He was tormented by other text for almost his entire life. He usually fought back, but they never did truly stop.
Tecks often lashes out at people, and you should not get on his bad side.
Nobody really likes him, but Kami in particular seems to sense some good in him. She can tell that there's something deeper about him, that there's more than meets the eyes. What is it? We'll see.
Everyone (except Sendril) lives in one giant motorhome.
The motorhome, however, is bigger on the inside, and the interior seems to shift when nobody is looking. One might consider it a Motorhome.
Also there's a chance that it might be alive.
Now you may be thinking "You didn't go into enough detail on the personalities of these characters, I am going to break into your house and steal all of your towels and washcloths." First of all, don't do that, I need those. Second of all, I'm bad at describing the personalities of my characters, so some of these descriptions were partially written by a friend of mine. They were quick and short sentences. Third of all, fret not! For I have a solution, kind of. In a post that will be made shortly after this one (30 minutes, for some reason the tumblr scheduling system won't let me post it any sooner), I have filled out a bunch of alignment charts with my characters. Those will (probably) give you a better sense of the personalities of these characters. So stay tuned for that.
In the meantime, I'm going to working on expanding the setting of Vadentoru. As mentioned before, I will be making a second post specifically about the setting of Vadentoru. It may take a few days until it is posted, so please be patient!
