Here’s a pic of my very first attended National Conference held at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, PH last October 26-27,2016. And yes, it’s Pastor Cesar Castellanos of Colombia llamada Misión Carismática Internacional and actually, the founder of the vision: Government of 12.
It was a fun experience, and I freely admit it. Hindi dahil nakita ko personally ang famed pastor ng G12, kung hindi dahil sa spiritual atmosphere na naramdaman ko towards him and his co-speakers/pastors.
I felt really depressed that time I attended this conference at sinasabi ko sa inyong kaaway ko pa noon ang pamilya ko (and it’s so ironic how I attended this na may kaaway pa akong tao.) But the time I saw Pastor Castellanos, excitement filled me. And it became more euphoric the time when he started to preach.
Naikuwento niyang naiwan siya ng mga kaibigan niya dahil sa pagkakaroon niya ng vision (to serve God). His friends were addicted to drugs, but furthermore, the essence of his story is that he told us that it doesn’t matter whether people wanted you to be “in” with them or not, as long as it pleases God’s will for you. And I’m amazed how he can manage to leave his friendship for God. “Because God is my own best Friend,” he said. And it became now my inspiration to pursue in serving God without everyone else’ appreciation, because I know God will be there to lift His thumb for me.
Makalipas ilang oras, dumating sa puntong pinalapit niya ang lahat ng taong hindi pa nakakaramdam ng pagmamahal ng Diyos at hindi pa napapatawad ang sarili. I can say, it was almost half of the attendees came in front at the altar, and there, Pastor Castellanos talked to them about their emotional problems (broken hearts, depression, etc.), healed them through praying.
Though it was not me there at the front, I can still feel the comfort with Pastor Castellano, the way he comforted those people upfront, I wish I should’ve talked to him too, but it was enough to feel his presence everywhere as he passed God’s presence in our hearts.
Later on, we celebrated and bid our thanks and goodbyes to the speakers... It was a very lively experience to be with those preachers who saved a lot of lost people. Their testimonies and all, just touched thousands of Filipino people--especially the youths to change and have a genuine conversion and submission to God.
