Week 5 - Business Operations Plan - Nail’d It Day Spa
Purchasing products for my company will vary on the type of brands that I want to purchase and how much equipment that I want to start with. For starters I will purchase off of other nail salons and go to boutiques that offer great starter discounts and even provide monthly instalments on equipment for sale. I will need to make sure that I have the required equipment necessary for opening up my business before I can start promoting myself.
In order to start selling my service I will need to ensure that I have proper nail tools like drills, UV/LED lights, proper hand care, and gels to start with.
After looking into some licences and insurance policies I will need to take a further dive into seeking to get commercial general liability, professional liability, commercial property liability, and potentially workers compensation if I decide to hire employees in the future. Insurance policies will be great to look into to prevent issues arising in the future as well.
In order to launch my business I will need to be able to promote myself and get the service that I am providing to the public to be known.
