How to know you’re becoming a true senior lady #1

For the first time ever, I am just a little bit relieved that my dance school is taking a 3 week winter/Christmas break. Now that the oireachtas is over, my body (esp my shins/ankles) are not having any of it.

Unpopular Opinion

Now, I am not a senior lady nor did I compete in that ginormous senior lady competition at worlds. I agree that the competition was large, difficult, and almost excessively so, but I think we should put off the split. 

Why? 

Because the TCRG requirements are set to change in 2018. All those senior ladies planning on taking their TCRG are going to want to take it before 2018, before they have to go back and take grade exams. Let’s stick it out for two more years and see how much the competition changes as people drop out to take their TC before they have to take grade exams. 

Everyone is talking about looking to the future, so yes, look to the future and see what may already be in place to fix this problem.

At worlds Breanna Broesler from the US danced as a senior lady in trousers! I love it and apparently she has been dancing in pants at major competitions for many years and has placed well enough to obviously qualify for worlds! Kudos to you lady for being so bold and daring and standing out in a good way. Good way to save money too.
