Sweet senior Himalayan, Angel Cake is available for adoption. Here’s an update from her foster mom. #Repost @fosteringseniorpets ・・・ Angelcake is the floofiest little himilayan you’ve ever seen. At #15yearsold you would think she’d hang around sleeping a lot. Yet Angel is the most active kitty in our house. She plays, she squeezes herself into every bag, basket and box she can find. She sits beside us pawing our hands to get more pats. She is such a lovey bug. Angel is a diabetic cat in remission. That means she doesn’t need insulin right now, but we do monitor her blood glucose levels a few times per week. If she gets sick (she had pancreatitis awhile back) her blood glucose levels spike and she may have a few accidents outside the box. Luckily after she received medical care from the vet she actually went back into remission. Yay! Angel also had a mast cell tumour removed from her head in September. The vets don’t think it will come back phew! She looked a bit like a monk for awhile with the shaved patch. It’s almost grown back now but it’s a different colour! Angel is with @ladybirdanimalsanctuary. They were asked if they could find a foster home for her from an animal shelter that could not find a place for her and realized that she needs lots of attention! Being a medical foster home I was able to take this sweet girl.
