I’ve just finished up Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft. I enjoyed this book by the end but I did struggle with it throughout. I felt as if the pacing raced forward then slowed down a fair bit which made the story a bit jarring to read. The one thing that kept me going was that I was curious to find out what happened to the characters, who have grown on me. Been off my reading game since about Christmas due to on-calls. Since Christmas, I read Stranger of Tempest, The Murdstone Trilogy and The Three Body Problem.
