Finally finished the Jinx plushdoll!!

Those horns(?) were so tough that I actually tried seven times. Honestly I'm still not fully happy with the result, so I might remake it when I have time😣

&I don't happen to have the right fabric color for KF’s hair anyway, and I’m still thinking about how to do his mask... Maybe next time!!

(both of their hair is just way tooooo difficult to work with😮‍💨)

I bought the DVDs so I can contribute some clips from Mandarin version (Even though I can't tell if it's official or not… there's a glitch in EP12 part T_T)

I had a random thought in the middle of the night... just wanted to trap the characters in a world where "every illogical fanfic trope exists solely to force the leads together."

At the same time, I wanted to poke fun at the OOC portrayals of HIVE 5 and Robin that I often see in Flinx fics (at least based on my own interpretation)

According to Robin’s profiles, the H.I.V.E. Five were a bunch of lazy, fun-loving slackers. Even if Jinx was a traitor, they shouldn't have the motivation or the budget to become cold-blooded assassins. Furthermore, Jinx was more than capable of taking on all five of them at once—especially with a Speedster by her side—yet she miraculously managed to get "seriously injured" in every single encounter. The H.I.V.E. Five had even somehow developed high-tech "Fake Jinx" robots to deceive the Titans into thinking she had turned evil again. It was a trope that had happened way too many times to be a coincidence.

​Then, there was Robin himself. He couldn’t understand why he became so uncharacteristically hysterical whenever he dealt with Jinx. It was as if all the paranoia and cynicism he possessed was being hyper-focused on her. Every time she appeared, he would find himself barking insults and cruel accusations that he didn't even mean. His mind would become clouded, much like his past hallucinations of Slade. Kid Flash had started several heated arguments with him over his behavior, and Robin couldn't even defend himself because, as soon as Jinx left the room, his sanity would immediately return.

​Finally, there was the "Elephant in the Room"—the relationship between Jinx and Kid Flash. It was baffling. The entire world knew they were head-over-heels for each other. They had even been living together for a significant amount of time, yet they stubbornly insisted they were "just friends." It felt as though the entire universe was throwing every possible disaster at them just to force a romantic confession.

​"That's it!" Robin shouted, a moment of sudden clarity hitting him like a lightning bolt. "There is a force controlling all of this!"

​Determined to save his own sanity and the world's logic, Robin summoned the pair to Titans Tower. Ignoring their frantic blushing and protests, he laid out his evidence and forced them into a room together. He made it clear: they weren't leaving until they made it official.

​The moment they finally confessed their feelings and became a couple, a metaphorical glass ceiling seemed to shatter in the air. The irrational irritation Robin felt toward Jinx vanished instantly. The H.I.V.E. Five probably went back to arguing over video games, and the "plot-driven" disasters finally ceased.

​Logic had been restored. The fanfiction was over, and they could finally just... live.

I've read pretty much every fanfiction I could get my hands on, and while I love a lot of them, this is the one that really stuck with me:

It's a 4-part series. To be honest, KF is a bit of a jerk in this one, but I'm obsessed with the interaction between Jinx and Robin!

I feel like they're actually very similar souls: they're both leaders, highly intelligent, and carry a certain amount of inner darkness. They both tend to be emotionally repressed, and ironically, both of them end up with partners who are incredibly expressive and wear their hearts on their sleeves.

But so many fics portray Robin as a total paranoid control freak. This author handled his character so well, and I really loved it...😭😭 (Obviously I'm a Robin fan too)

I HATE TTG, but shipping and stories aside, I actually kinda like TTG Jinx. She’s like a total party girl who knows how to have fun and loves dancing, which is super cute... (The TTG HIVE 5 are hilarious too, tho I have no idea why Gizmo is the leader.)

I love the episodes where the girls team up to save the boys (S3E35-36). Jinx just wants to grab milkshakes, and her dancing while using her magic to disable the security? That's adorable🥺🥺

​My Jinx in the school AU is actually a bit like this. Since she’s just a "normal person" there without the bad luck magic and actual villainy (well, maybe some minor delinquency like underage drinking lol), she feels more lively than her 03 version. She’s not TTG-levels of silly, but leaning into that vibe!
