GAIUS WORZEL IS BEST BOY. End of S(aga)tory.
Hahaha! It's Day 5 of Week of Trails and it's about time we talk about who we think are the best characters. I honestly love them all, some more than others. If this were a top 5, my other four will be Tita, Toval, Lloyd, and Kurt. Hell, I even have NPC favorites.
But Gaius is number one. From the first time I saw him in the soft open, I knew I'm going to love him. 😍 He's a very important voice in the story dynamic. His drive, humility, intelligence, and bravery... there's nothing bad about him at all.
Also, Gaius is a pretty special character to my fangirl self. I was lucky to "meet" both his English VA (Kaiji Tang at AX2017) and Japanese seiyuu (Yoshimasa Hosoya at Jump Fes 2019). I didn't even know Hosoyan voiced him in the original JP until I looked it up and immediately lost my shit! Lmao. (Hosoyan is my favorite seiyuu, okay. FAVORITE.) I also like his stage actor, Takuya Kishimoto. They did a FANTASTIC job casting him. I mean, LOOK AT HIM AS GAIUS!
