Ordered these on Amazon last night. Apparently there was a sale on the Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition headphones. Anywho so far I've noticed that they definitely sound clearer and brighter than the my HD 558s but they have less bass. I knew that I definitely didn't want that ivory/beige look to my headphones so that's why I sought out the special edition.
