Mood
Old Guy: “I was talking to your friends and they suggested I contact you.”
Me (in a rush and a bit of a mood): “I was talking to your friends and they suggested I don’t contact you.”
Old Guy didn’t sense the tone of my message and thinks I’m being jovial. Perhaps I need to start adding a footnote to each message to describe my current mood. 1
