Sensory Bins
Sensory bins are a great way to introduce your loved on to different textures and allows a way for them to communicate and to be actively engaging. what all do you need? Easy, a bin or two, uncooked price, or uncooked pasta, little toys, craft feathers, sheer playing scarfs etc. Any items that are to the liking of your person who is playing with the bin. Make a game out of it, hide and seek, racing, a scavenger hunt... The possibilities are endless.
I admire everyone who makes these elaborate sensory bins and changes them out all the time…I just this wknd cleaned out our fake snow that had been there a solid month. And today I poured in remnants of an old batch of rainbow rice. But K was thrilled. I kinda feel like even if I spent hours on a set up, she wouldn’t be any more excited than she is with something simple like this 😍. . While she scooped and poured, I cut paper hearts out of scraps. Suddenly we were talking about size order and she showed me that opening a folded heart can be more of a fine motor skill than I would’ve thought. Plus we worked on sweeping up our mess in the end 💗 . Taking bets on how many days til this rainbow rice is no longer in the container and instead spread throughout the house 🙃😜 . #whatsinyoursensorybin #sensorybin #rainbowrice #finemotorskills #keepinitsimple https://www.instagram.com/p/CZryGvPlZmv/?utm_medium=tumblr
