For Eve~
( Meant to finish these drabbles a WHILE ago! But here they are! :D )
Kiss:
It was the end of a long and tiring day. Eve was on his way back to the his guild after a long mission in order to get some well deserved sleep when he was suddenly dragged into a dark, deserted alley by a hooded figure.
"Stop struggling!" The voice hissed. At the sound of the voice, Eve stopped his struggling, recognizing it as the voice of his girlfriend. It had been a month since the games and they had to part ways. They remained together though and thanks to a communication lacrima Ultear got for them, they called each other every night.
"M-Meredy!" Eve said in a hushed, surprised voice. She kept her hood up, but lifted her head enough so the man could see the face he loved so much.
"It's been a long time, Eve." She smiled,"I was in the area and decided to stop by." The girl told him before he could respond. She didn't waste another second before leaning in and kissing him softly.
Truth:
"Meredy, what is it that draws you to Eve?" Ultear asked. It had been a week since they had parted ways from the Grand Magic Games. It was late in the evening and they were just sitting down and eating potato stew. She blinked and smiled. "Well, even thought I lied to him, he still accepted me. We may have gone through rough patched, but we always fixed things. He's kind, sweet and quite handsome. I love him." Jellal scoffed, which resulted in Meredy throwing a potato at him, "I don't care if you don't like it, Jellal, I'm staying with him." She spoke, getting another bowlful of stew.
Tender:
"Meredy?" Eve called gently. It was late at night and Meredy was sleeping in a cave. It had been one year since the grand magic games. Eve and Meredy were still together and going strong. She groaned a bit as Eve continued to call her name. She opened her eyes and smiled to see that he was beside her. "Eve..." She mumbled. "You came to find us..? What for?" "Well, today is a very special day~" He smiled. Meredy blinked in confusion. He chuckled, slowly sitting her up and lightly slapping her face to wake her up more. She shook her head and blinked. "Alright, why are you here?" She whispered as Eve helped her up and out of the cave. "Well, it is past midnight, so~" He kissed her gently and placed a small box into her hands. "Open it." Meredy blinked in confusion and opened the box. In it was a bracelet. She smiled warmly,"Oh Eve. It's wonderful." He stroked her hair before kissing her once more. "Happy birthday, Princess."
Morning:
Meredy groaned a bit as the morning sun hit her face. It had been a long, tiring night and she didn't even remember the events of last night. When she rolled over, there was figure beside her. She blinked. Meredy realized she was in the Inn where Blue Pegasus was staying for the games. And that she was naked. She blinked and looked at the figure beside her. It was Eve. The smell of alcohol was heavy on both of them. Everyone must have been drinking last. That would explain her headache. She smiled sleepily, playing with Eve's hair. When his eyes opened, she kissed his nose and whispered a gentle "good morning"
Night:
Eve was no doubt asleep, but he was the closest person right now. She limped to the inn where Blue Pegasus was staying and slowly scaled the wall. Eve was sharing a room with Ren and their room had a balcony. She collapsed against the wall, panting weakly. She knocked on the door several times until she saw movement. She backed up and when it opened, it was Eve.
"M-meredy? What are you doing here? it's 2 am..." He said, rubbing his eyes. The pink haired girl went to him and hugged her boyfriend tightly. He was a little surprised, but wrapped her arms around her, stroking her hair.
"What's the matter?" "N-Nightmare..." "Why didn't you have Ultear comfort you?" "Sh-she and Jellal are off looking into something. Told me to stay at the cave." Meredy was trembling. Whatever the bad dream was, it must have terrified her. He held her hand and guided her inside. Ren shifted in his sleep, but remained in his slumber. He got a shirt out of the drawer.
'Here. Hibiki got me this as a Pajama shirt. It's large on me, so you can use it for your pajamas. I'm sure you don't want to sleep in your dress." He smiled. She smiled back and went to the bathroom. A few moments later, she came out, her hair still up, but in his shirt. It was like a dress on her. Eve was back in bed. She set her clothing on a chair and crawled into bed beside him, still shaken from her nightmare.
"It's ok, dear. I'm here." He pulled her close, holding her warmly. She smiled and drifted off. Once she was asleep, he kissed her head and fell back asleep.
