Heyy back again with yet another sentient plane oc! I have created them for a joint worldbuilding story I am doing with friends <3
With my love for sentient mech I couldn't not make another oc based on that concept :D
352 words — Spirit, a B-2 that works in surveillance, wonders about the life she could’ve had if she were somebody else.
Spirit launched through the sky, a beautiful and powerful beast barreling through clouds. Her sleek metal armor chilled by the breeze and atmosphere.
A presence so powerful, a reputation of fierceness, and her rarity/obscurity.
Yet, small tears welled in her eyes; quickly frozen and left behind in the sky she was flying through.
She did not want to be seen as scary or intimidating. Spirit wanted friends, to have a good laugh with a group, to be invited out with all of the other planes. It seemed that the majority of people were scared of spirit and it tore her apart. Sometimes she wished, oh… what would life be like if I were a Cessna? Maybe I could be a flight instructor at a small little airport, helping the younger Cessnas and planes learn to fly. These thoughts only made her get more upset. To fight her want to cry, and to hopefully shake off the feelings, Spirit dove in and out of the fluffy clouds. As she entered the cloud, hard droplets splattered on her face, but it felt nice. She swirled and danced in the sky, pouring her emotions into movement. Every move was sharp and precise, just like she was taught; but, with a flutter of emotion that can only be learned by letting your heart take control of your wings. This small adventure helped to clear Spirit’s mind a little, and she went on with her day.
Little did Spirit know, her “dancing in the clouds” left fantastic trails in the sky. It was as if somebody painted and left artwork, only for those who cared enough to gaze up into the clouds. The soft pillowy clouds swirled and intertwined, as harder lines from her contrails cut through the air. It was a beautiful scene. Funnily enough, this happened to be quite close to where the Cessna flight school was planted. Spirit did do something to inspire the young planes, by leaving a message in the clouds above them. You can do anything no matter what; it doesn’t matter your model, top speed, livery, or factory purpose.
