GORDON: I think I hear something..

[At that moment, the unmistakable noise of the Soul Master’s teleportation is heard. It slams to the ground right next to them, before beginning a barrage of slamming attacks]

GORDON: SHIT

COOMER: LOOK OUT GORDON! IT HAS A DIVE MOST DESOLATE!

[Gordon seems to finally make headway when the master screams and bursts, leaving a shower of light. He relaxes, taking a second to lean on his nail and stare at the glowing shape before him. His friends stand behind the still locked door, placing weapon and claw under it. Darnold raises a hand to count them off]

DARNOLD: One!

[Gordon stands up straight. He approaches the light]

DARNOLD: Two!

[Gordon touches the light. He’s risen into the air, the soul colored energy absorbing into him, seemingly]

DARNOLD: Three!

[Just as they all push on their weapons, a loud screaming emanates from the outside. The master is not yet dead. It raises up before slamming into the ground with a tremendous force, shattering the glass below Gordon and sending him into the pit below. The door is forced open by the combined efforts, and the traveling group runs outside in a hurry]

NICK: GORDON?!

DARNOLD: OH DEAR

BENREY: THATS. NO. FAIR

COOMER: GORDON! THE HOLE!

[Gordon lands at the bottom of the pit in a rather ungraceful way, on his feet yet stumbling forwards. The pit is full of the empty shells of many bugs, a rather disturbing sight for the young vessel]

GORDON: ok, ow..

[The vessel’s companions peek over the edge of the pit, looking down at their friend]

NICK: GORDON! Are you alright?!

COOMER: That was quite the fall, Gordon!

GORDON: I think I’m ok guys. It’s kinda freaky down here though.

BENREY: We’re comin down dude. Bro. Gonna help.

[Benrey brings another Lance out of nowhere. He hands it to Darnold]

DARNOLD: now this may be a long shot, but maybe, we can pry this door open! Benrey, put the end of your Lance under it. Nick, do that with your nail. If it won’t hurt you Coomer, please do it with your claws. I’ll do it with this lance!

COOMER: an excellent plan, Darnold!

NICK: this may work!

[Gordon steps through the doorway and into the rain. The moment he’s all the way through, bars slam down behind him, separating him from the others]
