Maid ya look - Yata + Ryuuko

Not that they hadn't already hung out a million times since their first meeting involving wardrobe malfunctions, an impromptu birthday party, and nearly burning down all of Mamoru House. Today was going to be something of a breath of fresh air. Ryuuko was finally inviting him over to her room for video games like she initially promised. After returning to his dorm room from school and throwing on some comfortable clothes he headed over a couple of rooms down to where she was. Amazingly she was fairly nearby his dorm.

He rapped his knuckles against the door. "Ryuuko? Its me. Yata." He furrowed a brow as he received no response. He could have sworn she was aware he was coming over today. He glanced briefly at his wrist watch as if getting ready to confirm the messages but decided to knock again a bit harder. The senior paused mid knock as the door slowly creaked open. He hadn't hit it that hard, had he?

Yata knew better than to waltz into a girls room without permission but he suddenly got the feeling that maybe something was wrong. What if she burned down her kitchen again or something? Girl could never seem to keep out of trouble. Turning his head every which way to make sure no one was around, he slammed the door open in panic and shouted out her name.

Instead of being greeted by what he figured would be inevitable flames licking at the walls and furniture, he found one Ryuuko Matoi standing right there beside her bed and looking like a deer caught in headlights. Of course she didn't look like any deer.. It was more like a deer dressed partially in a maid outfit. Whether she was taking it off or in the process of pulling it on he had no idea. He knew better than to stare at her for as long as he did, cheeks tinted a darker hue than his hair and the furnace in his cheeks finally snapped him out of his daze.

"S-Sorry!" He yelled out, tone of voice a couple pitches higher than he would have liked as he quickly turned around and shut the door behind him. What the hell?! It was today wasn't it?! So why was she in that kind of outfit? Did she secretly like that kind of thing? He leaned against the door and pressed a hand to his chest as he willed his hammering heart to ease up.
