♘: cuddling in a blanket fort

At his core, Skip is nothing but an overgrown child. As an avid lover of dinosaurs, Capri-Suns, and rare baseball trading cards, it comes as no surprise that he also fancies himself a connoisseur of the blanket fort.

Despite both of their unfortunate statuses as grown adults, Seokbeom had agreed to Skip’s late-night proposal of constructing the best blanket fort known to mankind, which delighted him to no end.

“Alright, gotta put this one… here…” He delicately placed a blanket over top a mound of pillows with widened eyes. The pillows were perilously stacked, and the addition of this blanket had his heart racing like an especially intense game of Jenga. When the pillows maintained their form, he let out a sigh of relief. He gave both Seokbeom and the fort a solid nod of approval, before gingerly scurrying into the center of their fuzzy creation.

“Come on in!” He patted the spot beside him, bright grin spread from ear to ear. He then took a beat, opting to instead extend his arms; an open invitation for Seokbeom to fall into them. What better way to celebrate the creation of a fluffy fortress than a big ol’ bear hug?
