no because it's not just about him recreating her room for the whole day while his company is flopping, it's about him replicating it down to the little details. not just the stars, but the wallpaper. the covers. the positioning of the furniture.
as an architect, he understands the beauty of structures, and the memories they hold/represent. by transporting her back in time to the days when he might have first fallen for her by making her room as it was 10 years ago, he's communicating with her. just as an artist would find meaning in everything about their muse.
I have a feeling that his abilities as an architect are gonna come in use once again to represent his love for her. he's going to build her something timeless, I'm sure of it.
