i tried thinking really hard (sadly i have quite the bad memory;;) …..and the first and only thing that popped into my head was a message written by my best friend. she casually ignored all my texts throughout the day and then right before 12:00am, exactly a minute before the end of my birthday, she sent a long ass paragraph telling me how much she appreciates my existence. i know it doesn’t sound much but as a person who grew up with a lot of doubts about myself, i felt…overwhelmed and thankful that there was someone who saw me as an important person in their life and accepted me (positives and negatives) whole-heartedly!

honestly, i hope every one of you have a friend or will find a friend who loves you for who you are and will stick by you no matter what happens :’)

9. Favorite character to write?somewhere, someone is screaming.it’s junhui. it’s junhui!! IT’S JUNHUI!!!!!!!but it’s also wonwoo...i really hate rpf in that i’m writing using real people’s names and i need that distinction between real and fiction to be made, but i also really like rpf in that i can borrow from people’s actual observable behaviours to create a complex character. jeon wonwoo is a man of contradictions, an enigma, words that don’t match his behaviour (although i think that’s probably true for most people)...i’ve been accused (libel i tell you, libel) i have a midas touch for turning everything i write into ... wonwoo fic ... but i do really enjoy writing characters that i can explore, sink my teeth into, who take figuring out -- i like a challenge! i also like to think the wonwoo i write in every story is a little bit different, and it’s fun playing with that :~Dat the end of the day it’s also jihoon because i see shades of my past self in him, and i want to grow as a person, so writing about jihoon growing is also a lot of fun to me!! although, i don’t think any of my jihoon pieces have been finished/posted yet which is a good lead-in to the next question...12. What WIPs do you have going now? Are you excited about them?the main focus i have right now is on my fic for the primoridum...i’m SUPER excited for it, despite the fact that every week i tweet about whether or not i want to scrap the entire thing and restart. it’s centered around a character i don’t write strongly but whom i like, and it’s very very much focused on him, over the plot, over the relationship. a lot of what was outlined happened super organically, rather than me thinking “i want to write a fic about this” it was more like the story telling me this fic is about what it is about and now you gotta write it the way it just is. it’s also for a genre i’m absolute pants at, but i’ve been told also that challenging myself genre-wise is important, i’ll never get better at it if i don’t write it, insert some more bollocks here that i agree with but don’t want to accept...some other ideas i have kicking include three jihoon-centric fics, one of which is something i’ve owed @thepomelofellow for about 84 years tbh /o\, and these are generally the ones i’m looking forward to being finished the most...also...the 30 fic junhui challenge that i’m supposed to finish before his birthday...lol...[slides off chair into the abyss]
