Just a thought on the "Amber" part for Separate ways remake. At first Luis had to retrieve the sample (if he hadn't hid that, he would've been already dead or, more likely, re-infected as soon as suppressants wore off), and then Ada got infected - and when Luis got her the suppressant, the proximity of Amber didn't let the meds take full effect... And - yes, it doesn't go that well with common logic - as Luis was carrying that thing around Leon and it didn't have the same effect on his plaga... Was it about different types of the parasite? Or because of combined effect of Amber and Pesanta/Black Robe? Or just an excuse for not ruining the plot of Remake itself where Luis still had Amber on him after he gave that suppressant to Leon?

And - yes, I go with opinion that re-infection with plaga is possible, it just takes some time (any ideas on what's the half-life of that suppressant btw?).

And I've got another thought on the opening scene for Separate ways: what if main goal of "the monks" wasn't to kill Luis (as punishment for his "betrayal"), but more like to torture him to the point when he breaks and tells where the Amber is and who is his accomplice?

I’m actually very pleased with the addition of new Luis cutscenes :-) he’s so beloved….the way he almost died trying to get the suppressant and everything was so silly
