Jenny pushed the button a few more times. Absolutely no response. The elevator wasn't moving and nothing happened when she pressed the call button. She finally gave up and sighed as she walked over to Shido then sat down. "No kidding. The call button isn't even working." She then closed her eyes and leaned her head against the wall of the elevator. She felt something shift, and the elevator dropped a few feet before stooping again.

Jenny had quickly tried to grab Shido and stop him from stumbling. "Somehow.... I have a feeling something crazy happened outside." She speculated. Either that or the elevator they were in broke down.

The North Kaioshin was rarely away from her home universe, but sometimes travelling to other timelines or even dimensions was part of the job description. Hence why she stood in-front of the Basilicom, sensing the ruler of it behind the door. Closing her eyes, she mentally prepared herself and knocked on the door.

"Greetings, I am Purple Heart, the North Kaioshin of Universe 12. I came to seek an audience with the Herrscher Vivio."

Shido just cups her cheeks gently. "No you're not. In fact, I'm the luckiest guy in the world to have a girl friend like you."

​She can't help but, blush under his touch. "Well, I wanted to do something special for you but, I was having a hard time thinking of anything... It's hard to feel like I'm good for you sometimes."

Jenny had sighed when she got the formal invitation in the mail. On one hand, she was kinda glad Lina even bothered to remember to send her a personal invite. She usually just sent an invitation to her twin and was counted as his guest.

On the other hand, she really hated going. Sadly, this event always came in handy when it came to meeting new clients and continuing her work even if her boss took all her money away for one reason or another. Then as she was filling out the RSVP the thought to ask her fiancé to join her.

While, she didn't want to expose him to her work, work wouldn't really be discussed. At least, not outright so, it would be fine, right? That and it would give her a good chance to wear something pretty and introduce him to some of her friends. Plus, she did plan to quit her job soon so, this would be her last time attending.

"Hmmm. Mon chou, do you own any nice clothes? A.... friend of my brother wants me to go to a charity event. So, I was thinking you could come with me? I've gone to so many that I find them a bit boring."

He had only been dead for a day at most, yet it felt like an eternity had passed since he last saw Jen. He was sure that the news of his passing had hit her pretty hard, something he felt terrible for allowing to happen.

But now that he was here, he wasn't going to let anything like that happen again.

Unsure of how to approach, he would just call out to her as normal.

"Hey, Jen. I'm back."

She was starting to get over her shock. After arriving at his place and seeing the state of his apartment, it was hard to deny it any longer. At some point, she had gone to his room to cry. Surrounded by the scent of him, it was a hollow comfort.

When she woke up, it was like a dream. In fact, waking up left her in a state of confusion because didn't this already happen? She had been dreaming of him coming back to her. So, did she fall asleep again? Or maybe she had been glimpsing into the future again.

"S-Shido?" She called back hesitantly. Slowly getting up and walking towards the sound of his voice.
