Their relationship had taken a turn for the worse in the past few days, Sephiroth having provoked Ven to the point of him always having a knife on him. But today.... it would be over.

The thought of a teenage boy taking down a grown man is ridiculous, but it was completely possible. The blond snarled at his ex lover, keyblade in hand, battle stance taken and that murderous look in his eyes.

Being all too sure that the boy wouldn't get the best of him, Seph stood calmly, arms crossed. "Go ahead, Ventus. You can't beat me." He watched as the boy ran towards him, but what he did took him by surprise.

Ventus slid between the silveret's legs, using his keyblade to knock his knees out. Once he was down, the teen quickly stood on top of him, pointing his keyblade to his heart. "I'll give you 5 seconds to think of something to save yourself, and if you don't, this is going through your heart."

Staring at him in disbelief, Sephiroth searched his mind, but it wasn't quick enough. Five seconds after he had tried to think of something to save his life, the tip of the keyblade went straight into his heart, the last thing the general heard being a soft unlocking sound.

The bright ball of light came up from his chest and floated into the air, the body below Ven's feet fading into little sparkles of light. Stepping away from where the body once lie, he shook his head, muttering "Should have thought faster, you worthless son of a bitch."
