This song has been stuck in my head so much I realized the only way to rid myself of it was to learn how to play it.
I’ve been trying to get this cover of The Mountain Goats’ Psalms 40:2 to work even though this is way out of my comfort zone. Here’s a quick one off of me doing The Thing™
This is my thing now. Just single take, lo-fi covers of songs I first heard like ten years ago.
I thought I was dreaming when I realized that I could get all my recording software and hardware to play nicely together again, but lo and behold!
I just played this cover to make sure that everything from recording to export works properly, so it’s without EQ and all that, so don’t mind that I sound like utter trash. I’m just beside myself with excitement and couldn’t help but to share!
