Rhinoplasty: on table before and after showing correction of a dorsal camp and an nose that was just a bit too big for this patient’s face. The shape of the nose when making a nose smaller is determined by a combination of factors. The skeletal structure and rbe cartilage configuration are the two most obvious factors. BUT, my #1 determining factor - the septum. The septum is the cartilage between the left and right nasal passages. If it is crooked or malpositioned, it can block the breathing but it can also make for a crooked nose or a nose that is too small or still with a hump. And then of course there is the skin and the lining (plus a whole lot more). For more information about rhinoplasty, click the link in bio and test out the NEW and improved reworked website.
