i woke up at noon today and spent a long time working out on the floor of my bedroom with the only light coming from the led lamp on my desk set to red and the stars hanging over my bed while listening to brand new’s the devil and god are raging inside me with incense burning in a rolling tray because it makes me feel like i’m in fight club or something and then i wrote in a journal about the stuff i just typed out while drinking jack and dr pepper out of a red plastic cup and then my roommate texted me

im gonna porch and radiohead later if you would like to join 🙏🏼

so now we’re on the porch and we’ve been sharing a cigarette and a bowl back and forth between us for the past hour and she just put on radiohead’s ok computer album and i am. floating. there’s a cigarette burning in my hand. i might throw up. i don’t want to lift my head. i might piss myself. it’s not even ten.
