Stormy Faye The Christian Runaway Focus On The Father Lately, I’ve been a little unfocused on a few pressing issues. Okay, a lot unfocused. My attempts to focus more have left me spinning in circles and at a stalemate. So, here I am taking a few much-needed breaths and returning to my center, My Lord God. Right now, I hear my mama’s voice, whispering in my head, “Look to God!” Laying all pride aside, ignoring the pressures of earth’s measurements of time, I’m focusing on my father. I’m resetting my focus on the father. #FocusOnTheFather Have you become more focused on things of the world and feeling the stress? I sought out the word of God, the one and only truth that gives life. Let us encourage one another through the love letters in God’s word. Here are 7 Biblical Scriptures that focus on The Father: Thus says the Lord, my Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.” (Isaiah 48:17) I desire to do God’s will so I shall know whether it is from God. (John 7:17) The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not lack. (Psalm 23:1) Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105) I hear Jesus’ voice and He calls me by name and leads me out. Jesus goes before me and I follow him, for I know his voice. I will by no means follow a stranger. (John 10:3-5) I shall hear a word behind me, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever I turn to the right or the left. (Isaiah 30:21) The God of peace will make me complete in every good work to do His will, working in me what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ.
