               Oh, that was one hell of a question for Zero to be asking right now and with her mental capacity being in the state it currently was, Blaez wasn't entirely sure she could answer it. Zero, in the throes of her righteous grief, had done something that had gone so against everything that the wolves believed in. Blaez knew that once news of this spread, there would be mixed opinions thrown in every direction and she would do everything she could to protect Zero, Eli and Aidan... but whether the pack decided her redeemable or not was something she didn't enjoy thinking about.

She loved being what she was and adored her people, but she knew from her own personal experiences that they were notoriously stuck in their ways and while necromancy was a little deeper than the difference of opinions, Blaez felt that it was something that that Zee might even have to decide for herself.

"I think." There was a pause, a moment to consider her next words. "I think for right now, all we gotta do is rest. Take it easy and deal with this sorta thing tomorrow with fresh eyes and fresh minds."

               When presented with assortment of beautifil and different flowers, Yvette couldn't help but smile before leaning over to offer Zero a peck on cheek before giving herself a chance to take the whole thing in.

"The themeing is... something." While it may have looked messy and a little put together in a rush, after taking it in a little more time to admire the bouquet, Yvette eventually came to notice that each flower represented a hair colour she had used throughout the different points in her life; which was something she felt a mix of emotions going back on.

"Blues are mainly my thing, huh?" One flower was gently separated from the bunch, taken in in silence before she spoke again. "Though I do think I should bring back the purple. These lilacs are so pretty." Zero was swiftly embraced. "Thank you so much."

               Eli had been reclaimed by the Earth and was going to be embraced by the Mother before returning to her great and endless hunting grounds where he would be free to hunt and run endlessly, live in a state of euphoric bliss until it was time for his spirit to return, when this place needed a soul just like his.

It’s something she was raised to believe her whole life and it was something she did believe in with her whole heart and soul… but the reality of her sad, aching heart tarnished those great stories of her people.

Everyone was currently grieving for Eli, all in different ways, yet none of them could really compare to Zero’s. She was there, in that horrible moment, after all, and Blaez couldn’t even consider processing the scene and awful moment that was. So, when Zero spoke up, how was Blaez even meant to respond?

Letting instinct take the lead, she silently made her way over to Zero and sat herself next to her, bringing knees under beneath on the couch. Soft hand was used to slightly brush hair from Zero’s face before Blaez kissed Zero temple, only then to nuzzle nose into her affectionately.

Whatever Zero needed, she would try to be. Whether the witch needed to talk or cry of wail her grief to the moon, Blaez would do whatever she could to ensure that Zero could feel as okay as possible in this tragic situation.

               Was it okay? Was this confusion and mental exertion in trying to figure everything out going to be his new normal?

Avoiding Zero's eye contact wasn't deliberate; small scuff on wardrobe in their room got his attention as he sat on their shared bed. That was his wardrobe, wasn't it?

It could have been a few seconds, it could have been a whole minute, but those eyes finally met Zero's. Her beautiful eyes. Mouth fell open, him becoming totally encapsulated by the beauty of her. She was meant to be important to him, wasn't she?

He couldn't speak, didn't have the bandwidth to do so even if he wanted to. Brain was working overtime trying its best to make connections and sift through memories he wasn't even sure were his own, but his heart knew. It was just desperately waiting for that foggy brain of his to catch up and make that pivotal connection.
