~ How To Make A Sequin Ornament ~
We first shared this tutorial in December 2016 and it's become a bit of an annual tradition ever since!
You Will Need :
styrofoam ball in a size of your choice
sequins in the sizes and colours of your choice
sequin 'lill' pins
pva glue
optional : rocaille beads, generally size 11° or 8° work well
Instructions :
1. Place a sequin on a pin, dip the point into the pva and push the pin into the ball.
2. Place a sequin on a pin, dip the point into the pva and push the pin next to the previous one.
3. Keep creating new pins and pushing them into the ball until you have covered it completely.
optional : add a rocaille bead to your pin before you add the sequin
tip : you can draw a design on to your ball as a guide before you start to pin the sequins
