can you tell me wtf is up with wadanohara bc it looks like yume nikki and i have no idea if i’m into it or not
(lmao that was quite the random post to ask this on)
um... i've never tried to describe wadanohara in-depth, but this is the warning the translator has given on the game's page?
Mogeko rates this game "ages 15 and up," mostly for graphic content later on. (This rating is Japan-centric and would likely be more strict by other countries' standards; 18 and up may be more appropriate.) I would advise against playing if you think you may be upset by implied sexual assault and violent imagery.
it is a cute game, but yeah, it gets pretty gorey and bloody every now and then (esp as you progress later in the game). MOST of it is just pixelated crap in the overworld view so for the most part it isn't too bad unless that sort of thing is very triggering for you?
as for a summary (this is the part i struggle with most), it's essentially about a sea witch and her familiars coming home to this sea kingdom after a long (and irrelevant) journey only to find that the kingdom's on the verge of being under attack. so as you play you uncover the mystery of What The Hell Is Going On In The Kingdom basically, and then maybe 2/3rds of the way through is when Shit Goes Down and all those dangerous CWs/TWs come into play. honestly if you can handle it tho i'd definitely recommend it!! i had a fun time playing and it's incredibly plot-heavy so there are some battles and such but for the most part they're super easy ;0

sequinssequence replied to your post “[[MOR] i really can’t get behind most transgender headcanons and...”
tbh a lot of trans headcanons are lacking bc they're just 'genderfluid neville!' w/out providing any nuggets of which to base said headcanon, such as 'imagine neville teaching other students about finding gender in uncomfy environs!' so yea
mmm
i mean i know a lot of people have bias headcanons like. i think i may have mentioned at some point that i'm p sure i headcanon half the fuckin kagepro characters as somewhere on the ace spectrum bc seXUALITY BIAS!!!!!!!!!!! but i mean romantic + sexual orientations are obv entirely different realms from gender identity so
idk
which i guess is why it's easier for me to headcanon different romantic/sexual orientations over gender identities, since the former already tells u precisely what kind of experiences and feelings they'll have with those orientations (if u get what i'm saying)
still though i like identity-related headcanons because of the fact that people come up with good backstories for them and like to detail what kind of experiences they'll have with their gender identity and all!! so that's where the whole i-can't-get-with-these-headcanons-because-i-can't-relate thing comes in i guess
queerpower replied to your post “[[MOR] i really can’t get behind most transgender headcanons and...”
I was in the same boat for a long time until i slowly came to the realization that i am Ultra Trans and that made it a lot easier for me to accept trans headcanons tho... to be fair... i still dont really like binary trans headcanons much.
mmm
i feel u man :^0
i'm glad people can understand what i'm trying to say here bc it means i'm not the only one that feels a lil out of the loop sometimes, per se
sequinssequence replied to your post:My Pandora just went from Celldweller to Kesha. ...
Krewella is like both Celldweller and Kesha, you might like her. I know I found Krewella through my Blue Stahli Pandora.
Interesting????????
I'm gonna go check her out now.
I've been a huge fan of YW ever since I was young and I found them in a strange city's library for the first time. When I first read AWAlone, I had mixed feelings, but I recently read the NME edition and I'm feeling like I'm about to cry, because finally, there is a character that moves and speaks like me. I never saw or read anyone speak like Darryl did, and he speaks just like me, and that is so, so important. I can't even begin to describe how important it is to me. Thank you, so very much.
You are completely welcome. I'm so glad it's working better than it did.
