WHY 2016 CAN GO F**K ITSELF
-the bugs. we had a mild winter and for the first time in the seven years that we've had our pets, THERE ARE FUCKING FLEAS THAT WE CAN'T GET RID OF and other ppl are having the same problem. pet stores are selling out of flea treatment products. fyi, frontline and other fipronil products don't work anymore. -2016 presidential election in the states. Bernie is out of the running and there is the possibility that a racist, fascist dictator could be the head of one of the most influential countries in the world. -student debt continues to climb. -the cost of living is going up, but most wages aren't. -brexit. the older generations just decided what the younger will have to live with. the £ is at a thirty-year low. global trade has been disrupted. the EU regs that controlled worker's rights and so many more important things are uncertain in England now. -the x files are no longer free to stream with amazon prime. season 11? -why does everything cost SO FUCKING MUCH -global warming. it's not just making the planet hotter. it's melting the polar ice caps, destroying habitat for many animals that depend on the ice. melting ice caps are resulting in higher sea levels, which threatens low-lying costal cities-not just cultural centres, millions of people in countries like Thailand and Indonesia will be displaced due to this effect. also, Europe's temperate climate is due to the thermohaline currents coming up along the coast of Africa from the equator. BUT. the melting of the ice caps will eventually either cool or disrupt the current to the point that a lot of Europe will feel like Russia. -can't find a fucking job to help pay for college to save my life -WHERE ARE THE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN ENGINEERS?!?! they make a big deal about it and promise you lots of money, like enough to completely pay for college. BUT I HAVEN'T FOUND SHIT. if you're white, there's nothing. i guess being a chick in a 4:1 male to female student body ratio because there aren't a lot of women in aerospace isn't enough of a minority. you have to be completely broke for monetary reasons to apply. you're above the poverty line, but are normal and not so fucking loaded that you can pay your own way? SUCK IT GOOD LUCK -you have a passion for something but not the money or means to pursue it. go get a job that at best you'll like and at worst you'll hate just so you can make enough money to follow that passion and live half a life instead of doing what you love.
