“ That’s... oddly caring of you Angel. ” Violence spoke, rather puzzled by the other’s attempt at comforting the fiend. Angel has never struck him as the caring, tactful type, Violence would assume that the devil would find that far too taxing. 

Maybe they’re in-tune with other creatures emotions due to being an angel or something like that? Either way, Violence doesn’t know them all that well to talk about personal stuff like that.

“ I appreciate you looking out for me, but how about we get to know each other first before we dive right into this stuff? That’s how making friends works. ” Violence deflected, he didn’t have anything against the other, not at all. But the truth is that Violence didn’t know the devil at all, it would be awkward to just jump into this kind of conversation like this. Plus... he’s not exactly all that comfortable talking much about how he feels deep down, it was easier to just be the chill fiend.
