Second, this is a web animation? That’s an interesting choice. Streaming is definitely becoming more popular, so I can’t blame them for testing it out since On Parade seems to be that kinda series used for buying time and testing things.
Third, I’m actually quite looking forward to this. As I’ve mentioned, I liked Raki, so more of her isn’t bad. It’s also about time Noelle, Sora and Maria get more spotlight. Especially Sora! <3
The series will air right after On Parade’s 25th episode. While there’s a new anime being worked on for Autumn. I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s about.
Lastly, These new coords shown are totally cute! Maria’s is certainly my number 1 favorite out of these.
I’ve watched this trailer like 5 times now and I plan to watch it some more later... When Lucky was brought up being in the arcade game, I didn’t really expect much but this was a pleasant surprise. <3 Can’t wait to see Elza, Yozora, Lily, and other characters I love return and interact with the idols of the other series like Wakaba, Sora and Risa. And the new songs... Don’t get me started on the possibilities of that.
My only real question rn is now long this is gonna be? I can see it being anywhere from 25-75 episodes. I hope it’s long as possible tho, because this is a beautiful idea. Imo, they should just treat idols like Pokemon. Even in the gen 7 anime, you’ll still see gen 4 Pokemon here and there. I think that’d be pretty reasonable to do with idols.

I've just finished an anime called Yumeiro Patissiere. Essentially, it's a baking anime. At first glance, this anime is already better than Food Wars imo, since there's not ecchi. On a deeper look, it's easily in my top 20 anime now.
The characters were mostly all enjoyable. Ichigo is pretty much a basic shoujo heroine aside from her strong since of taste, but I love her anyway. It was always nice seeing her and the princes on scene. (Especially the Kashigo moments) Fairies are usually more hit or miss, but they were fine here. (Choco is by far my favorite. <3) The only character I was usually meh on is Miyu, but I always find her kind of character annoying. The only time I enjoyed her was near the end of season 1.
I feel like they could had paced the 2nd part of the first season a bit better. They didn't really give many of the France teams much development. I was actually looking forward to seeing the team from Spain since I liked their designs.
The 2nd season is a time skip and I love time skips, but sadly it's only 13 episodes. I found it enjoyable, but I still prefer the 1st season. I think the best part of the 2nd season is that it helped give Marie the closure her character needed, while the worse part was them wasting 3 or episodes in the fairy's world. I feel that they could had dedicated those episodes to something better.
Overall, I'd give this anime at least an 8. I'd recommend it if you love shoujo anime. Especially something like Aikatsu, since it gave me that kinda vibe, except with baking while intense music plays. (I love this ost called Cake Taikesu)

It’s been a minute since I’ve watched Precure cuz of the episodes not being subbed, but I’m actually glad I got to binge these few yesterday. I quite enjoyed them and I still felt a need to give my quick thoughts on them, so here I am!
Episodes 29 & 30: It was nice seeing Lala’s home planet and I’m glad she got recognition in the end... but geez were the people on that planet a bit twisted, Especially Kuku. What logic were you even using to suspect the girl you’ve known for likely years and you claim don’t have much too her as a thief when you just saw a red tengu woman on camera? T_T Also, how is everyone on that planet not fat as heck? Those gummies likely only help so much.
Episode 31: I liked talk about being a leader and protecting something. Garuouga is easily my favorite of the notraiders now, however they kinda did him dirty. I fee as though he should had won instead of backing off just because he couldn’t breathe anyone. At least they gave him a nice fight with good animation.
As for Puff, her original form was way more adorable but I guess I don’t hate this new transformation.
Episode 32: They made Garuouga look like an idiot and the animation was a bit questionable. I still enjoyed seeing him on screen. As for the new finishing move, I thought the transformations were really pretty. It’s really unfortunate the animation is kinda busy and we’ll never see those forms anywhere else...
Episode 33: My least favorite of the bunch but not bad. I’ve never been a fan of when fairies suddenly turn into brats, (Looking at you Haa-chan) but at least she’s growing and developing as a character instead of just a hungry warp machine.
Super looking forward to the next episode because A.) It’s an Elena episode and B.) That Cactus alien looks really adorable. <3

Since the series has ended, I decided to give my thoughts on everything.
Friends was mainly kinda dull compared to Stars, but I still enjoyed the series. I found Pure Palette’s arc that lead up to them temporarily separating to ultimately return as a stronger friends units and the Solvette arc to be my favorite and the moments that held my interest the most (aside from Wakaba being on screen). I’ll be giving my quick thoughts on all of the characters. Hope you all enjoy!
Pure Palette
Aine had a very intriguing concept going on in the first few episodes with her getting help from friends she made, alas that didn’t really continue as much as the series went on. I would had loved to see Aine befriend more and more people and have them help her out frequently. However, I have to acknowledge that the friends Aine makes do help her occasionally, so the premise wasn’t totally lost.
Mio was set up as an idol who wasn’t good at making friends, it would have been nice to see that continue and her develop from it with Aine’s help. I also would have liked to see her continue her focus on fashion. Aikatsu doesn’t often take time for fashion focused episodes these days, but when they do, they usually end up being some of my favorite episodes of the series.
Honey Cat
Honey Cat was built up to be a really strong unit originally and I couldn’t quite see them as that. I like the characters, but they just didn’t seem to fit the same mold as a unit like Love Me Tear or rivals like Laura from Aikatsu Stars. It seems those thoughts of mine were proven correct as they were pretty much tossed aside like some season 1 characters tend to be in 2nd seasons. Looking at you, Kaede, Laura and Ako.
Reflect Moon
I liked this unit. It was probably my favorite of S1 before Wakaba came along and took all my love. Having a unit of twins was an interesting choice but at the same I pretty obvious one if you look at some other idol series. All the same, I found Sakuya’s battle with shyness relatable and Kaguya’s insecurities with not being up to par with her sister very relatable. I also have to say that they didn’t have a song that I didn’t love. Even though they kinda got kicked the side in terms of the Jeweling Dresses, they still managed to stand relevant in their own way in S2, which makes me quite pleased.
Love Me Tear
Karen at first seemed like just a Hime clone. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was intended at first honestly, but over time she shaped up into a character that had a bit more depth than Hime. Despite her cute and elegant appearance, she’s actually a bit sadistic and kinda fearless to have tigers, bears and such as house pets. I found her goal of spreading Aikatsu to the world interesting and hope but don’t expect it to be referenced in a future series.
Mirai was a very ‘cunique’ character. You’d assume Karen would be the mentor type of this series like Mizuki and Hime, but no, it’s Mirai (Though Karen has helped Mio and Kaguya) and I feel she does a better job of it than the other 2. She’s a generally friendly girl, but a tough yet loving mentor. She even took it a step further by scouting and mentoring Wakaba. (Thank you Mirai for gifting me with my precious cinnamon roll!)
I’m happy that LMT stayed relevant in the 2nd season and didn’t pull something weird like Mizuki. They continued their development of separate yet still as one until they finally performed together once more. ...I just wish they didn’t use the Jeweling Dresses cuz those don’t really match Pride or each other.
Wakaba
It’s finally time to talk about Wakaba! I love her! I love her! Bye.
...But really, I found every episode Wakaba is in to be my favorite of S2, especially when she gets her Jeweling Dress and the beach episode. She’s just so adorable and fun and must be protected. I really wish S2 of Friends was a full 50 episodes so her, HC and RM could get more screen time like they deserve.
I Believe
Hibiki started off as a character I didn’t really care for. She seemed like just an odd and flamboyant Elza, but during the Solvette arc, a different side of her was shown and she began to grow on me.
Alicia… I can’t quite find the words to give proper thoughts like the others. However, I think her relationship with Hibiki was interesting with them figuring out what type of lesbi- I mean friends they wanna be.
I Believe’s development was pretty much the main focus of this season and I think they did a decent job of handling them.
Aikatsu On Parade is starting soon and I look forward to seeing the interactions between my favorite idols. I’ll likely be giving my thoughts on at least the first episode and an overview once it’s over.
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve given my thoughts on an episode, but I just enjoyed this one so much that I had to give my lil 2 cents!
Beach episodes are usually kinda meh to me since theyre just fanservice, but this episode actually did beach episodes right. 1.) It focused on Wakaba. <3 2.) It let everyone shine in some way. 3.) It showed a needed a break for the idols and they’re managers/helpers, since they’ve pretty much been busy non stop lately. The battles between Hibiki and Karen were also very welcomed.
I kinda wish I could write this better, but I’ve had a bit of a block lately. Sorry...>.<
Next week focuses of Alicia doing a marathon in heat it seems. I like how it tied in to a concept of her not being good with heat that was introduced this episode. So it should serve as some kind of development for Alicia.
I procrastinated watching this season because I wasn't expecting much from it but I'm quite glad I finally sat down and watched. I found it to be pretty refreshing season with an interesting story as they slowly put the pieces of the 2 world's past together. The Cures are all lovable and I liked most of the villains, especially Batty and Oruba. And to top it off the 2nd version of the opening is easily one of my favorite Precure openings.
Riko and Kotoha had good development, but it feels like Mirai didnt get much attention. She just had the "I want us to stay together" thing they all had. While the other 2 cures both developed in their own ways. Even the headmaster had really nice development, I'm sure they could dedicated a couple scenes adding on to Mirai's character in a way that doesn't make her a standard heroine.
Deusmast went out a bit too quickly. I would had preferred giving the fight all of 49 and half of 50 then having the scene of the aftermath. This would especially help since the later part of 49 was really good and should had ended the season. 50 felt so random and unnecessary that I didn't even know if I wanted to finish it.
I decided to give my quick thoughts on the episodes involving this little Sorbet Kingdom arc together.
I found it to be quite a nice arc. Aikatsu doesn’t usually do stuff like this, but they’ve slowly begun to start doing story arcs more and I think that’s nice. Perhaps in the future, they’ll let the characters explore more locations outside of Japan for a few episodes. I know I would had loved to see Ichigo’s adventures in New York.
I think the most I got out of this arc, is that it actually made me start caring for Hibiki. Before this arc, I was honestly a bit meh on her. But seeing her develop as she tried to get Alicia to start Aikatsu again was interesting to me. I’m looking forward to seeing I Believe develop further, because theyre both enjoyable characters.
I don’t know if I’ll return to weekly giving my thoughts, but I’ll at the very least give them every few episodes. Regardless, I’ll always look forward to seeing anyone’s thoughts and comments of the episodes. ^^
