Even though I hate to see Serena lose, today was still an amazing experience because I got to see her in the flesh for the first time since 2009. I have so much love for this woman and it’s crazy how I’ve been crazy about her since I was 7 and almost 2 decades later she’s an even bigger force on and off the court. Still has a long way to go but considering all the trials she’s been through and the blessings of bringing new life into the world, she’s already in a very good place. She has nothing to prove but knowing Serena she’s not satisfied with the past and wants to create an even bigger legacy.
