A-T-4 043 Klaps - All The Way You Move (Dub Move)
Klaps were a French group that released one record. Most the members were doing other things and carried on in music in France or Belgium. The vocalist uses the name Rasnop for this recording but had a huge hit as Serge Ponsar with Out In The Night in 1983 and Lady Angie as Andy Nelson in 1982 (I've just spotted a spelling mistake), guitarist Laurent Jeanne and keyboardist/producer Yves Aouizerate worked on Charmez La Bombe for Marc Joan, drummer Pierre Marie (MAMS) and keyboardist Fred Montabord were in Black And White Co. who in 1984 released Sidney - Let's Break (which could have been included in my Breakdancing craze of 1984 post)

Plaisir - Visa Pour Aimer (Version Instrumentale - 1984)
French boogie at its best by Plaisir (Brothers Accardo).
‘Visa Pour Aimer’ can find its roots on Overdrive’s ‘Taste’ (1980 or 1981), a band founded by French drummer J.M.Black (Jeannot Black) with brothers Guy and Didier Accardo, Christophe Kowak and Gilbert Dupuis.
Serge Ponsar’s ‘Out In The Night’ released in 1983, was based on ‘Taste’ and saw moderate success on the soul charts that summer. It soon became a favourite of Larry Levan’s/Paradise Garage NYC and saw greater commercial success by rising to the Top 10 of the Billboard Dance Charts.
(Brothers Guy and Didier) Accardo aka Plaisir released ‘Visa Pour Aimer’ in 1984 which was basically a re-make of 'Taste’.
This monster boogie track is sampled in Titus Williams’ ‘Give Me Some Love Tonight’ also released in 1984.
