Fleming's used the Sergeant Dan mascot from around 1915. The figure was thought to have been created by artist Charlotte Lawlor, and he features throughout the 1927 book Stirring Times: Creamoata Recipes. The Creamoata factory at Gore was a landmark featuring an image of Sergeant Dan on its wall, but Fleming's was sold to Australian interests in the early 2000s.
